Making a Difference for Those in Need
Volunteers are an essential part of the CWS family, and form the backbone for our various programmes and services. As a volunteer, you will often times be working directly with our clients and beneficiaries, making a meaningful impact and difference in their lives.
Volunteering Opportunities
01
Befrienders
Befrienders are the backbone of our volunteer work, engaging directly with residents and clients, assisting and interacting with them, and providing them with emotional and social support. Befrienders are deployed across a variety of programmes and services, including our Nursing Homes, Social Assistance Programmes, Night Mission and Shelters, and more.
02
Admin Support
Admin Support volunteers provide valuable back-end support that helps keep our programmes and services running. From helping to complete essential admin work, to sharing with us valuable skills and expertise, to helping to coordinate activities and events, Admin Support volunteers play a key role in our volunteer operations.
03
Tutors and Mentors
As a Tutor or Mentor, you will be working closely with our clients from our Bursary Programme, providing them guidance in their studies while also serving as a mentor.
04
Community Outreach
Community Outreach volunteers serve as our ambassadors, helping to raise awareness of our programmes and services at events and spread the message about the work we do.
